"Reverse the Odds":
Raising Awareness to Physical Educators

Greece, Glyka Nera 10.09.2025. The Greek Lifesaving Sports Association raised awareness to 92 Physical Education Teachers about the educational materials of the Erasmus+ program, "Reverse the Odds", to prevent gambling among youth (Project No. 2024-3-DE04-KA210-YOU-000280177).

The teachers were informed about the aims and objectives of the program that aims to prevent gamlbing among youth. They expressed their opinions about the project and were introduced to the educational material that can be freely here). The materials include posters, leflets, podcasts and an e-guide. 

The presentation was made by Dr Stavros Tsonias, School Head, Dr Stathis Avramidis, President of the Greek Lifesaving Sports Association and Efraim Chalkias BEd, GLSA Head of Volunteers.
