Dr. Irene Karatsoli
Dr. Karatsoli graduated from the Medical University of Varna “Prof. Dr Paraskev Stoyanov” Member of the Red Cross, Varna, Bulgaria. She is a member of the Organizing Comittee of the International Festival of Red Cross and Health Films. She has been twice elected as Bulgarian Youth Delegate in the European Youth Conference in Vienna, Austria during the Austrian Presidency and in Bucharest, Romania during the Romanian Presidency of the council of Europe. She was part of the Organizing Committee in the European Youth Conference in Sofia Bulgaria during the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of Europe. She is an Occupational Therapist with experience in working with children with disabilities.

Dr. Stathis Avramidis
George Sepetis
Academic Fellow of Applied Lifeguarding & Lifesaving Sport (School of Sport Science and Physical Education, University of Athens). Officer, National Public Health Organization. President, Greek Lifesaving Sports Association. Author of 17 lifesaving books. Instructor and Senior Tutor on lifesaving, water safety, first aid, lifeguarding, personal survival, sports leadership (ILS, STA, CLF, RLSS UK, RLSS Australia, SSTA, NUCO, Padi, SJA, ASA). His life was portrayed in the documentary "Stathi".
Eleftheria Avramidou
BSc in Sport and Exercice
Science (Leeds Metropolitan University, UK); Diploma of Specialization in
Swimming (University of
Athens, Greece); BSc of Physical Education (University of Athens, Greece). Long education and
working experience on aquatics, water safety, first aid and personal
training in swimming, aqua gym, weights and stretching. She has 21 years competitive athlete for 21 years; 25 times national
champion in swimming and fin swimming; over 30 times placed in the
top 3 rankings in national or international tournaments of sport
lifesaving, speed and marathon swimming; 3 times Balkan Masters Champion Runner. She has been honored 21 times in 5 countries including the Diploma Award by the Royal
Life Saving Society Commonwealth whose Patron is Queen Elisabeth (video). She has established a high reputation as a professional and have been interviewed several
times in television. Her life was portrayed in the tribute video "GLORYne".
Sepetis
holds a degree on Social Religion, a degree on Pedagogy, a post graduate degree
on Education from the University of Athens and a Master of Arts in Primary
School Education from the postgraduate School of Maraslion. He served Greece in
the Military Navy. He speaks Greek, Italian and English. In the past he was a swimmer (1973-1979) and
water polo player (1983-2001) in various teams. He is a certified Lifeguard (IKN, STA), Master
Scuba and Nitrox Diver (PADI, CMAS, EOYDA), Open Water Instructor (PADI), Lifeguard Instructor (1994-1999), and
holder of numerous swimming and water safety certifications (ASA, STA). Among
his interests are the childhood and psycho-pediatric disorders, diving medicine, religion,

Efraim Chalkias
Efraim Chalkias, is a student in the School of Sport Science and Physical Education at the University of Athens. He has a member of clubs in swimming and other sports. Since he was in the High School he participates in theatrical games. He is animateur for children and teenagers. He is a certified and professional beach and pool lifeguard as well as lifeguard instructor and lifesaving sport referee. He has participated as athlete in numerous swimming and lifesaving sport activities including exhibitions, Pan-Hellenic Lifesaving Championships, Greek and British University Championships. He teaches water safety, first aid and lifesaving the last few years. Efraim has attended the modules of "applied lifeguarding" and "lifesaving sport" in the University of Athens. He is a regular and loyal volunteer in numerous activities that require water safety, lifesaving sport, first aid and lifeguard cover or education. Leandros Stefanakis
Leandros Stefanakis is a highly educated professional
in Sport Science and water safety with a solid vocational and academic
background at postgraduate level, holding an BSc and an MSc with specialization
in High Achievement Sports. He has been
working as a Physical Education Teacher in primary, secondary schools and
colleges. In addition, he is a swimming, water polo and triathlon coach. In the
past he owned the “Poseidon Lifeguard School”, a respected company based on Crete Island that was approved by the Ministry of Maritime
Navy, which trained and certified lifeguards. He is certified on first aid,
scuba diving, oxygen administration and defibrillation from organizations in
Greece, Bulgaria and the USA. He has participated in many Lifesaving Sport Championships
and tournaments winning 1st and 3rd place repeatedly.
Nikos Tsoltos
Head of Coaches in the Greek Lifesaving Sports Association. Graduate of Sports Science and Physical Education specialized in Swimming (University of Athens). Master in Medicine and PhD research in Medicine (University of Athens). Certified Coach and Judge in Lifesaving Sport (EOYDA). He has worked 10 years as swimming coach in programs of the General Secretariat of Sports. He worked as Physical Educator in private schools. He started his carrier as pool supervisor in Kalogeropoulos Schools. He was swimmer and coach of Olympiakos Team and later on 4 more swimmign teams. Taxiarhis Rellias
Degree on Sport Science - Physical Education (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki). MSc in Quality of Sport Services. Diploma in Management and Leadership in and Executive Coaching and Management (Aegeran University). He has a rich scholarly work as well as work experience as lifeguard, swimming coach. Giannis Georgatos
Georgatos graduated from the School of Sport
Science and Physical Education (University of Athens) with a mark 7.5/10 and
holds a Diploma of Specialization in Swimming with a mark 8.8/10. Since
December 2018 he works as Swimming Trainer of all age groups in the
Municipality of Marousi. He is a Member of the SEGAS Volunteers Program and has
participated in the Authentic Marathon, Half-Marathon, Poseidon Half-Marathon
(2015-2018). He has participated in the 30th, 31st, 32nd Pan-Hellenic Indoor
Track and Field Championship. He has made oral presentations of research in
