Dissemination Activity 4 – Erasmus+ Project “Reverse the Odds”
Greece, 23.06.2025. As part of the dissemination of the knowledge, experiences, and educational materials developed within the Erasmus+ project “Reverse the Odds”, an awareness-raising and educational session was organized for Summer Camp Leaders.
During the session, Stathis Avramidis presented key information regarding the risks associated with gambling among young people, highlighting the psychological, social, and behavioral impacts that gambling can have on youth. The presentation also focused on prevention strategies, emphasizing the importance of early awareness, responsible decision-making, and targeted educational initiatives.
Particular emphasis was placed on the role of summer camp youth leaders in promoting a healthy, active camp living among young people. Summer activities such as dancing, theatre, swimming, acting, were presented as meaningful alternatives that encourage physical activity, teamwork, and personal responsibility.
